Garage Find! 1996 Titan Tornado II with an 80 HP Rotax 912.

This is a very well made Tornado II. It was purchased 3 years ago and taken to the Titan factory for an inspection. While there it received all new hoses and a brand new Warp Drive propeller. The Titan experts then gave it a test flight.

After the purchase it was brought back to PA and has been in a garage ever since. The new owner never got her license and as finally decided to sell it. It has only been taken out a few times to run the engine and drive around the yard! The airplane and engine only have 108 hours on them.

Bring your tow vehicle, take it home, and start flying. Tornados are a blast to fly and are very economical. Great visability with short field capability and fast cruise.

Wingtip navigation lights and strobes. Also has landing lights and electric flaps.

Clean, simple panel thanks to the Grand Rapids EIS. Has ELT with remote. The cockpit features comportable Titan seats and is completely lined with vinyl for a nice appearance. It comes with a headset but no radio.

Side panel controls all the lights and the electric flaps.

Easily adjustable rudder pedals. Full controls front and rear. This model has the hoop shaped front seat brace to make it easier for the rear pilot to get in and out. I fit in the rear at over 6' tall.

Very low time Rotax 912 run great (as is should). Smooth 80 HP is more than enough.

Simple and light weight mechanical brakes.

Brand new front tire.

Brand new 66" 3-blade Warp Drive Propeller with special protractor for adjusting.

Counter weights on the stab. Also has leading edge protectant tape on the stab.

This scrape is about the size of a quarter on the bottom of the flap. The propeller rotated on the trailer and rubbed on the flap on the way home from Ohio.

The trailer was purpose built. Steel frame. Plywood deck. Stainless steel fenders and hold downs.

Wing stands for the trailer.

Tail boom hold down for the trailer.
